Arylex™ active – the revolutionary new active for oilseed rape (OSR)
Dow AgroSciences has a strong heritage in the discovery and development of active ingredients used in oilseed rape (OSR) herbicide products, such as Galera™, Lontrel™, Runway™, Navigator™, Kerb™, Astrokerb™, Ielo™ and Gallant™. Viewed as a revolutionary solution to the problem of broad-leaved weeds, Arylex™ active is set to be the latest innovation to the wide-ranging Dow AgroSciences OSR herbicide portfolio.
Currently in development, Arylex for OSR will be available in several co-formulations that will provide European growers with effective, flexible and easy to use post-emergence herbicides for treatment throughout the Autumn and Spring seasons. With the first product registrations in Europe expected during 2017, Arylex will offer OSR farmers a number of key benefits;
- TARGETED WEED CONTROL:
Arylex™ active offers farmers the opportunity to move from existing pre-emergence/early-post weed control strategies, towards a more sustainable practice based on post-emergence weed control that targets only the weeds present at application.

Effective in all weathers (including the cold, wet conditions of Autumn and Spring) and soil conditions, Arylex offers unrivalled flexibility by enabling application over more spray days – according to actual weed occurrence and farmer needs.
